This idyllic Regency period estate, moments away from the rolling hills of Bruton, Wells and Glastonbury is unveiling a series of seasonal events in TIIGO, from October to year-end, starting with a phenomenal month of Pan-Asian Tapas-style brunch with bottomless drinks and great music.
“TIIGO is all about good times; fantastic cocktails, chilled vibes, great music and authentic pan-Asian dining right here in Shepton Mallet.” Says the resort’s Hotel Manager, Imran Mannan. TIIGO itself is a beautiful, open-sided wooden chalet set within Charlton House’s secluded walled garden, furnishings include comfortable outdoor armchairs, spacious fire-pit dining tables and radiant freestanding fire pyramids.
It’s a cool chill-out spot even for the winter season, by day it offers a laidback alfresco dining atmosphere, and after dark, beneath a thousand sparkling festoon lights it transforms into a buzzing, celebratory nightlife scene.”
Hotel Manager Imran Mannan, himself from Sri Lanka, worked closely with a Bath-based Sri Lankan sous chef to create an innovative fusion menu, that brings genuine Asian cuisine into the heart of Somerset. He adds, “This menu is influenced by cuisine from Vietnam, Sri Lanka and Thailand, and includes gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan dishes. TIIGO’s flavour profile is wholly authentic, but no one should worry about the heat of our spices, the menu has been created to control the spice levels according to everyone’s tolerance. We’re happy to turn up the heat, if you ask us.”
Every dish at TIIGO’s is designed to evoke the spirit of a vibrant Asian street market, offering fresh, bold flavours. Succulent prawns, Asian-style octopus, and fiery noodle dishes are served in playful, shareable portions, perfect for pairing with signature cocktails. The entire menu is a celebration of pan-Asian culinary delights including delicate, crispy tempura and fragrant, spicy Thai mussel curries.
The pan-Asian Tapas-style brunch with bottomless drinks and great music will run on all Saturdays throughout October from 13:00 – 23:00. £60 per person includes two hours of cocktails and beers, one main and one side dish.
