Kilver Court Opening on Thursday 25th June

15 Jun 2020

We are delighted to be re-opening the majority of Kilver  Court on Thursday 25th June and cannot wait to see our customers again. The Gardens and Garden Nursery have already successfully and safely re-opened, and on the 15th of June the Mulberry Factory Shop will also open its doors to the public. Following this, on Thursday 25th June we will open the next phase of the Great House, Emporium, LK Bennett and Yves Delorme. Toast will open next on the 9th July.

Our Arcade and Hackett stores will remain closed for the time being while we adapt store layouts to accommodate the guidelines, but our most popular brands in these stores will be moved to the Emporium. We will be heavily reducing the number of changing rooms in operation and sanitising them after every use, in line with Government guidelines. We ask that, if at all possible, customers avoid trying items on where they can. Any item that is tried on will be hygienically cleaned or quarantined for 72 hours before it is returned to the shop floor. To help customers feel reassured on making purchases, for the time being, in addition to our normal 28 day exchange only policy we will be offering a full refund on all clothing purchases for the first 14 days. Watch this space for more
information on exciting brand activity and offers over the next few weeks, including brand locations.

Our Harlequin Café in the Great House will also be offering a take-away service for organic barista coffee, teas, cold drinks and cakes.  We have redesigned our layout to create a “kiosk” style operation which allows us to serve drinks outside from our café window.

The health and well-being of our staff and customers has, and always will be, an
absolute priority at Kilver Court. We have adhered to government guidance at every stage of the pandemic so far as we are passionate about creating an environment where both our staff and our customers feel safe and comfortable at all times.
We have spent many weeks developing social distancing measures and putting
markers in place, with a one-way system operational throughout the village. We
have also added enhanced cleaning regimes using specialised cleaning products
that have a residual barrier action against viruses on all frequently touched
surfaces, from door handles and banisters, to loos, till areas and card payment

Our social distancing measures will be similar in style to what you may have experienced in supermarkets with monitored queuing, floor markings and posters. Kilver Court is a complex set of buildings, so please follow signage and guidance from our staff at all times. We will have ‘social distancing champions’ in place at entrances and exits to stores who will monitor and control the number of customers instore to ensure a safe shopping environment. This may mean there are queues indoors and outdoors, but hopefully only for a short space of time.  We look forward to welcoming those who are less able, but please if possible visit with a companion and also make contact with our Duty Manager on 07841 871473 before attending – this will help us to maintain social distancing for everyone.

Key to our new layouts and approach will be:

Limiting customer numbers in one area at any time
Separate entry and exit points
Remaining at least 2m apart at all times
Outdoor 2m queuing areas outside The Great House, Emporium Porch and  Plant Nursery (please bring a brolly if it’s wet!)
Please only visit in household groups, and keep children close by at all times
All car parks will be open, please park carefully and adhere to social distancing
Card payments only – cash will not be accepted, please help us  remain safe by adhering to this
Hand sanitiser will be provided and must be used on entry
Only guide dogs allowed on site
Please be patient if there are queues and follow the direction of our staff.

We understand that these measures are not the ‘Kilver experience’ you have come to know, but they are crucial to help us all stay safe.
