Clarks Village update for re opening 15th June

06 Jun 2020

Update on health & safety measures at Clarks Village Clarks Village will be
introducing a number of additional health and safety measures, effective
from the date non-essential retail stores are permitted to open, in
accordance with government guidelines. Clarks Village is preparing for
non-essential retail stores to open on the 15th June, unless otherwise
announced by the government.

The health and safety of guests and staff is Clarks Village’s highest
priority. As such, the following measures will be introduced, to ensure we
can welcome guests back to Clarks Village in the safest possible way:

•     Hand sanitiser points will be located at our entrance/exits
•     A one-way system will be in place to ensure social distancing can be
maintained and capacity will be limited
•     No stopping zones will be introduced at a small number of points
within the mall area to ensure social distancing can be maintained
•     A queuing system will be introduced for entry to the centre and
stores, to ensure social distancing can be maintained
•     All centre staff will be provided with masks and will be operating
throughout the centre as Social Distancing Champions, supporting guests
wherever possible
•     Signs, banners, posters and painted floor markers will help remind
guests to keep a safe distance apart.

Chris Davis, Centre Director, Clarks Village said: “Safety is our highest
priority. We’re working hard to ensure we adhere to all government
guidelines at Clarks Village, and will be taking a robust approach to
cleanliness and hygiene. As well as the thorough cleaning of the centre, we
will be using floor markers and signs to remind guests to keep the required
distance apart, we will be providing hand sanitiser for guests to use at the
centre, and our Guest Safety and Guest Service teams will be available to
help manage queuing. From 15th June, guests will be able to check which
stores are open on our website and we will list FAQs there too. We’re
looking forward to welcoming our guests back and will be fully compliant
with government guidance at all times.”
