The Bristol Hippodrome and The Royal Shakespeare Company’s Matilda The Musical are in high spirits after a very special version of The Great British Bake Off took place at the historic city theatre this week.
“When we moved to East Lambrook Manor and took over the famous garden here in 2009, Moish Sokal’s annual Summer Exhibition was already an established Somerset event,” says owner Mike Werkmeister, “now 10 years later we are still playing host Moish Sokal and his fabulous watercolours in the Malthouse Gallery, situated in the garden.” The exhibition runs for seven weeks from Tuesday 4th June to Sunday 21st July, with a Preview on the afternoon of Sunday 2nd June to which visitors to the garden on Sunday afternoon are also invited.
The Bishop’s Palace is delighted to announce a brand new exhibition to be held from 22nd May until 30thJune in the Exhibition Room, upstairs in the Medieval Palace.
Entitled “SGFA 100” the works will celebrate artists who are members of The Society of Graphic Fine Art, and the creation of the Society which is 100 years old this year.

A new display, Collection Stories, will shine a light on the outstanding collection of historical fashions kept in the Fashion Museum Bath’s 19th century store. Collection Stories will open at the Fashion Museum on May 17, 2019.
