Last week, all over the country, people celebrated National Volunteers’ Week 1-7 June, and at The Bishop’s Palace in Wells the team was recognised for the huge contribution they make: over 15,000 volunteer hours a year, helping with everything from storytelling, gardening and office work to guiding visitors around the beautiful gardens.
