We represent a fusion of traditional style with contemporary tastes. 

Try our real ales served directly from the barrel, sample delicious local ciders and great wine. Enjoy our Gold rated creative menu made with best of local fresh foods, including award winning pies and excellent Somerset cheeses. 

Stay with us, in one of our 6 relaxing ensuite bedrooms with comfortable beds and real oak furniture. We are listed with the AA 4 Star Inn. We regularly receive top scores for reviews on Trip Advisor for these delightful rooms. There is also a two acre camping site of camper vans and caravans to the rear of the pub. Facilities include 24 electric hook ups, 5 non electric points, chemical disposal point, showers and toilets and drinking water. 

Our purpose built function room overlooks the attractive, sheltered country pub garden and is ideal for events, weddings, parties and meeting of all kinds. 

So drop in when you’re passing by –we’ll be pleased to see you. We are by the A37 Fosse Way, a short distance from the A303, Glastonbury, the Bath and West Showground, Wheathill Golf Course, and the small historic market towns of Somerton and Castle Cary (main line station to London Paddington).
