Glastonbury Abbey Extravaganza returns for 25th anniversary celebration with Van Morrison on September 4th
Special guest Tanita Tikaram has been added to the lineup!
We’re very pleased to announce that our Glastonbury Abbey Extravaganza concert will return for its 25th anniversary celebration on Saturday, September 4th, 2021, with a headline performance from Van Morrison.
Also performing in the Abbey's historic surroundings will be The Staves and the Glastonbury Male Voice Choir. The evening will conclude with the traditional fireworks finale.
Said Michael Eavis: “It’s so wonderful to be back together again enjoying this lovely space – especially to the songs of Van Morrison. What could be better?!"
Tickets are on sale now, costing £40 for adults and £20 for children aged up to 16. Any remaining tickets will cost £45 / £25 on the gate.
As always, overnight options are also available in the campsite nearby, at the foot of the Tor, which is also open for bookings now.
Please note that the Extravaganza will be held in accordance with all relevant government guidelines at the time of the event. If the event is not able to go ahead due to restrictions, refunds will be offered.
You may bring a reasonable amount of alcohol with you into the event. A reasonable amount of alcohol is determined as an amount suitable for a single person to consume in a single sitting. Visitors are asked to be mindful of the family friendly nature of the event and to consume alcohol in a responsible manner. Any alcohol brought into the event should be for personal consumption and may only be brought in upon arrival. There is no exit and re-entry with alcohol.

Extravaganza Terms & Conditions
A camping plot for those wishing to use their own tent, campervan, motorhome or caravan on our family friendly campsite or a pre-erected tent is available to book. The pre-erected tent does not come with any contents so sleeping paraphernalia will be required.
The campsite is open from 10am on Friday September 3rd with last entry at 10pm on Friday September 3rd unless prior arrangement has been made. It will re-open at 8am on Saturday September 4th. The site will close at midday on Sunday September 5th.
The campsite is close to the Tor and a shuttle bus will operate from the site to the abbey on the night of the Extravaganza.
This is a basic site so please note a hook-up is not provided. There are toilets and washing facilities.

Please note that camping can only be booked online. Numbers are limited and spots will be sold on a first come, first served basis. All T&Cs from the event also apply at the campsite.
