Attractions in Glastonbury

“Ancient Avalon or New Jerusalem? We are such stuff as dreams are made on…” – history, religion, myths and legends; walking, cycling, museums, nature reserves; live music, festivals, celebrations and much more will fill your visit to Glastonbury. Set in the beautiful setting of the Somerset Levels, you could walk and cycle on quiet paths and lanes without encountering a hill. However, if a stiff walk is your preference, climb to the top of Glastonbury Tor and take in the uninterrupted views in every direction. On route to the tor, drop into the recently refurbished Rural Life Museum, or visit Chalice Well, perhaps the abbey on your way back.
