In the summer the Town Council put on a FREE programme of concerts on the Bandstand from a variety of musical acts from the local area; there are performances on most weekends from late May to early October.

The Memorial Park also plays host to the Keynsham Music Festival; it’s one of the UK’s largest FREE festivals. Its week-long line up of musical and theatrical events, coupled with locally sourced food and drink, attracts visitor numbers of around 20,000! More about the Keynsham Music Festival

There are sites of historical interest within the park boundary; you can visit the remains of Keynsham’s 12th century Augustinian abbey and a restored undershot water wheel on the site of Chew Mill, a former 18th to 19th century brass battery mill which predates the 1500's.

The park’s river setting, large variety of trees, flower beds and wooded areas attract lots of different wildlife including Sparrow Hawks, Herons, Kingfishers and many different species of insects, ducks and fish.
