Clevedon is a beautiful Victorian seaside town overlooking the Severn Estuary.

The town, by Junction 20 of the M5, is just 13 miles from Bristol and 10 miles from Weston-Super-Mare with good public bus links to both major towns.

Popular features include Clevedon Pier, a grade 1 listed building, Clevedon sea front with pebbled beaches and a marine lake, ornamental gardens and a Victorian bandstand all within a 10 minute walk of each other.

Next to the Marine Lake is the Salthouse Field with a light railway running around the perimeter and a nearby mini-golf centre.

All of which are a hit for families with young children.

Clevedon is a beautiful spot all year round for taking a stroll along the promenade, overlooking the beach, enjoying fish and chips or an ice-cream in the summer.

There are a selection of stylish cafes and restaurants situated next to Clevedon Pier, to sit back and take in the fantastic scenery.

The town is also home to the Curzon cinema which is the oldest purpose built cinema in the world which is still in working order.

This is a unique experience which will truly take you back in time.

Hill Road offers a selection of unique and quirky locally owned shops for an afternoon of tea and browsing the shops just a 10 minute walk from the Pier.

Whilst The Triangle, centred around a Victorian Clock Tower in the centre of Clevedon offers well known shopping chains and supermarkets.

Water sports are a feature of the local scene with clubs for canoeing and sailing as well as a variety of other sports such as cricket, rugby and football.

Clevedon Golf club, bowling club and riding club means there is something for everyone taste.

For walkers there are some fantastic routes, including Poets walk, for a hillside walk or picnic with sea views.
