As we all try to achieve a better work/life balance these days, it can help to join groups, clubs or societies that provide those opportunities to get away from the job and think of something else. It can be particularly rewarding to spend some down time on something that helps others who are less fortunate such as coaching them in a sport or helping make things. Whether your hobby is sporty or crafty and whether you like singing or acting, the chances are there is a group not far from HPC that would be happy to have you join them.
