Overlooking the River Parrett, Shakspeare Glass & Arts is home to one of the finest master glassblowers in the country. Will Shakspeare creates individual pieces of handblown glass drawn from his influences of the Somerset countryside and coast. Browse the Gallery and shop for unique heirloom pieces and gifts, including works from other selected makers.

A range of Will’s bespoke glass lighting, including chandeliers, pendant and wall lights are on display throughout the workshop and Gallery and are also available to order online .

The coffee shop offers a variety of cakes and coffee and teas, and the perfect views across the river. It’s the ideal place to meet with friends and sit on the decking on a bright day, and during certain times, you can watch Will as he goes about his craft, blowing glass at the furnace.

Will has been creating and making his own inimitable glassware for more than 30 and is one of the country’s most collected makers. 

He also offers occasional demonstration evenings and one-to-one glassblower workshops which are advertised through the website and on the Shakspeare Glass social media channels.
