The home to an amazing number of independent shops
Nailsea has a thriving High Street and shopping centre filled with a mix of independent retailers, family-run businesses and more recognisable big brand stores.
If you’re looking for rural charm and fresh, local produce, visit the Tuesday Market in Somerset Square or our monthly Somerset Farmer’s Market. Held on the third Saturday of the month in the High Street, you can pick up lots of local Somerset produce including meat, cheese, eggs, preserves, fish and vegetables – as well as crafts, jewellery and hand-made products. There are a number of local Farm Shops on our doorstep too like Jacklands, Brockley Stores and Gatcombe Farm Shop.
Take a break from shopping in one of our lovely coffee shops, cafes or pubs in the town centre.
Click on our Shopping Guide to see the full list of the shops we have in Nailsea. Here are just a few:
Our family run business offers a traditional farm shop serving a wide range local meat, dairy and veg plus plenty of seasonal and speciality produce.
The company was created by Husband & Wife, Sean & Ruth Burchill in April 1991, after Sean, who had previously worked within the Bristol Fruit Market as a salesman, decided to take the next step and create a shop of his own.
Simply Green Zero Waste’s mission is to help the people of Nailsea and its surrounding areas to shop sustainably: both at no added cost to the Earth and at prices that don’t cost the Earth
