We’re a family farm and dairy business that’s grown into Britain’s largest organic brand. Somerset is our home, our workplace and the backdrop and inspiration for everything we do. We’ve been farming and making dairy products in Blagdon since 1961. Our business has grown with farms across the Mendips and production sites across Somerset employing over 1,700 people.
This was built in the 1970s as part of Nailsea’s new shopping precinct and closed in early 2010. Its name is a reminder of Nailsea’s long-lost glass-making industry. The Glassworks was one of the largest in the country, producing mainly crown glass for windows and bottles, hence ‘Crown Glass Place’.
