Description

Minehead premier gardens just off the town centre and a few minutes’ walk from the sea front and the harbour

Blenheim Gardens
Blenheim Gardens (maintained and run by Somerset West and Taunton council) is ideally situated in the centre of Minehead and covers nearly 2.5 hectares of parkland. Created in the 1920's it is now a mature, attractive and sheltered haven, popular with residents and visitors. The park provides spring and summer bedding displays, a wide range of trees, shrubs and perennials which thrive in the mild seaside climate. The flower beds and shrub areas are framed by lawns. The park boasts a bandstand for summer weekend concerts/brass bands.

There is an 18-hole putting green but currently there is no formal play provision for children. The Gardens contain female, male and disabled toilets maintained and run by Minehead Town Council.

There are several access points into the Gardens (from North Road, Blenheim Road and via a footpath from The Avenue) and a public car park with 62 spaces on the eastern boundary accessible from North Road.
