Walking in famous historical footsteps with a little Train Travel to support!

Get the train from London Paddington or any of the other associated stations on route to Bath Spa Station. Then get off the train and  follow in the footsteps of Jane Austen in beautiful Bath. You can then take the Mendip Explorer Bus or car to Wells and then Glastonbury to learn about the  legends of King Arthur and Joseph of Arimathea in Glastonbury, where the foundations of European Christianity began and the most famous musical in the world resides, Glastonbury Festival.  Once you have finished your weekend in Glastonbury you can hop on a quick 20 minute taxi ride to Castle Carey station and be back in London with an one and half hours.  Info on taxis can be sort from the Glastonbury visitor info centre.

You'll visit the residency of the current Bishop of Bath & Wells at the Bishops Palace, whilst staying in the oldest hotel in the UK, at the Swan Hotel in Wells. Whilst marvelling once again in Movie nostalgia as you will walk in the foot steps of Hollywood royalty finding out about such films shot in Wells as Hot Fuzz, The Libertine, Poldark, The Spanish Princess & the Huntsman Winter War!
