Coleridge Way is a 51-mile walking route through spectacular countryside has been named after the Romantic poet whose best work was inspired by the Somerset and Exmoor landscape. You can follow in the footsteps of Samuel Taylor Coleridge from the house he rented during the late 18th century in the charming village of Nether Stowey, through the Quantock and the Brendon Hills, into the Doone Valley and above the dramatic coast, to the seaside village of Lynmouth.
The Coleridge Way rewards walkers with a rich variety of scenery from heath and moor to wooded valleys and waterways. It is dotted with delightful villages offering the chance to stop for a rest and refreshment. The walk can be completed in six days or spread over a number of visits and there are plenty of places to stay.
