Paranormal Strategy is launched with Tour Operator coming to Somerset in March

In March we introduced Haunted Houses to Somerset - Haunted Houses and Visit Somerset are now preparing to develop a Paranormal Trail for Somerset. Which we should be launching in September to help with the shoulder season, extending the visitor year for Somerset. -

- This whilst at the same time we introduced friends from the US based Indulgent Vacations, who came to scope out deeper Somerset for the US market.

During the trip both organisation met with GWR trains to look at commercial opportunities for the county.

Over the three day familiarisation Trip Haunted Houses followed the following schedule.

These premises and attractions along with video content shot talking of expereinces, will be used in support of the trail.

We have Haunted Houses coming to start the development of our Paranormal Trail and we have Yadira Wright coming from US Tour Operator Indulgent Vacations our page is HERE already.

8th March

To Wookey Hole to meet team for quick meeting and discussion around developments and Paranormal opportunities. 14:00

9th March

Head down to the Rock at Watterow<https://www.visitsomerset.co.uk/places-to-stay/hotels/rock-inn> for meeting 11:00 – 12:30

Back to Taunton then to the Castle Hotel<https://www.visitsomerset.co.uk/taunton/places-to-stay/castle-hotel-taunton> 13:30. For look round and hotel then tour of the Somerset Museum. 14:30 Contact Sean General Manager at museum for meeting and tour.

Meeting at Castle Hotel firstly at 13:30 for meeting to meet Chris and his team – Ruth GWR. Yadira also to connect from an American point of view.

Yadira join us for Museum of Somerset trip and then back to hotel for meeting and dinner

10^th March

Yadira travelling down to West Somerset – to check out the West Somerset Railway at Bishops Lydeard and potential workings

On to Dunster where will be hosted by Exmoor Character Cottages – Guided tour of Dunster

Going to Dunster Castle National Trust & potential sites and sounds of Exmoor

Dinner at Medieval Lutteral Arms that Night – Overnight stay at Exmoor Character Cottages –

11^th March

Potential Minehead Station (West Somerset Railway) and Minehead in morning for visit and cream tea!– Then ECC take Yadira back to Taunton to catch train back to London.
