The Visit Somerset team has been active in many markets recently, two weeks ago meeting Miki Travel, one of Japan's largest tour operators, to action a review after a successful international FAM trip last November.
Miki called the meeting to develop Somerset products to market whilst discuss transportation and integrated transport planning with GWR and Berry's Coaches.
Not only are they committing to developing a product, but they have already started developing a product for us from the FAM trip in November. The product in discussion currently is working around the Jane Austen Festival and working with the Jane Austen Centre. Together with product development covering Hestercombe Gardens for the FIT and Group markets.
This whilst their Japanese sales team is already making immediate inquiries, regarding the blogs below.
