Our beautiful detached three bedroomed former barn retains many original architectural features.

The Stables

The holiday home comprises of two double bedrooms and a single bedroom (with an additional single pull out trundle bed) sleeping a maximum of six guests. Each bedroom has an ensuite shower, basin and WC. There is also a separate guest cloakroom on the first floor.

On the ground floor there is a spacious living/dining room with a feature Victorian cast iron cooking range, perfect for self catering. The new spacious kitchen has solid granite worktops and hand painted units. This also leads to the shared garden and cider orchard.

The holiday home was redecorated in subtle Farrow and Ball paint colours and re-carpeted throughout during the Spring of 2013.

The Local Area

The Stables is located beside the ancient Roman Fosse Way – the oldest Roman Road in the British Isles. It is walking distance from the village of Castle Combe and just 20 minutes drive from Bath.

If you are looking to explore the great outdoors there are many local walking and cycle routes.

Need more space? We have three self catering holiday homes in total. These sleep up to 16 guests with the option to up this to 22 guests using rooms from our bed and breakfast. We often provide accommodation for parties attending weddings in the local villages of Castle Combe, Grittleton and Euridge.

The Dovecote sleeps up to 4 guests.

The Garden House sleeps up to 6 guests. It is also pet friendly.
