Portishead has a busy town centre filled with an array of independent shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. With a number of other retail areas also in the town, shoppers are provided with a mix of national brand stores and small, independent retailers offering everything from food and drink to beds, garden furniture and cars. There is a monthly Farmers Market selling wide range of delicious local produce; there are also occasional artisan weekend markets and a regular food and drink festival.
