The Web Made Easy

A starter's guide to generating new business online

27 Nov 2008 and 26 Feb 2009

Whatever size of business you have, a successful online presence will help you generate new business. Making sense of what is needed to be successful though can sometimes be quite confusing. Thankfully help is on hand.

Visit Somerset's new 'jargon-free' workshops are designed to inspire and provide you with the confidence to take the simple steps you need for your business. The workshops will cover:

  • The changing marketplace (what do your potential customers expect?)
  • General I.T. adoption (what software, which PC's, why broadband)
  • Setting up a website or building a better one (the Golden Rules)
  • Managing and using email (Effective communication with your customers)
  • Maximising your potential and resources (quick wins, tips and marketing)

Workshops will be delivered by experienced professionals who have an in-depth knowledge of IT and tourism, and will be on hand to give one-to-one advice specific to YOUR business.
