TIC Bookings
Somerset TIC's generated over £200,000 for accommodation providers in 2007.
Many businesses receive bookings from Tourist Information Centres (TIC's) throughout the year. This year sees the launch of a new service on the Visit Somerset website - The Enquiry Management System (EMS).
The system will help TIC's find information quickly, manage brochure requests and make accommodation bookings with any business that has signed up to it.
If you sent back your Visit Somerset Booking Form recently, and did not tick the box that enables TICs to make bookings with you, you will not appear on the EMS which means you may lose out on potential business via the TICs.
To check whether you are currently showing on the EMS, contact Fi Kaczorek on 01823 355 036 or at fkaczorek@somerset.gov.uk. Alternatively, please complete and return your booking form sent out to you recently before 28th January.
