Events Form
Please read before proceeding to the events form
All events published on site are considered by using the following criteria as a guide:
- Size of event (likely to attract large numbers of visitors)
- Location of event (able to accommodate large numbers of visitors)
- Cost of entry (reasonable price per person)
- Length of event opening (likely to be between a 1- 5 day event)
- Landscape image (min. 500px wide)
Larger events will be listed on the Visit Somerset website (i.e. Bath and West Show, Shepton Mallet)
Smaller local events may not make it on to the Visit Somerset website but could be added to district's printed / web event listings (i.e Craft Fair, at Kingston St Mary Village Hall which is advertised on www.heartofsomerset.com/events )
We are constantly developing our website and are currently investigating ways in which events that do not fit the above criteria can be advertised, until then please accept our apologies if your event does not get listed.
The editors decision is final.
