Vivary Park

The park is home to children's play areas, Aviary and picnic tables, War Memorial, Rose Gardens, Vivary Golf Course, Taunton Bowling Club, Victorian Fountain, Bandstand, Model Boat pond, Taunton Deane Cricket Club, Model Train track and outdoor tennis courts as well as acres of well kept lawn and beautiful floral displays.

The park has recently played host to the Moscow State Circus, Taunton Flower Show and the Classic Proms and Pop Concerts.
Vivary Park was awarded the Green Flag Award and Green Site status in 2004 for the first time, and retained it in 2005

A new Chalet including shop, cafe and veranda opened in 2006. The Scandanavian Chalet fits in perfectly with its surroundings and is designed to served the needs of residents and visitors alike.

The chalet includes new public toilets, the Sand Wedge Cafe and shop.
The park plays host to events such as the Taunton Flower Show, Pop and Proms Concerts and the Moscow State Circus. On summer Sundays from May to August the park plays host to weekly free local band concerts at 3pm at the bandstand.
