Spend time exploring the brand new visitor centre, Home Farm. The original Grade II* Victorian model farm buildings have been converted into a restaurant and café full of tasty seasonal food and a shop selling local gifts and crafts. Later this Spring enjoy the farm themed play area, second-hand book shop, garden shop and Focus on the Wild, the interactive wildlife discovery hub.
Like many National Trust properties the main house needs a rest over winter to carry out conservation work and protect its precious interiors from wear and tear but the 500 acres of beautiful North Somerset countryside, gardens, parkland and woodland in which it sits, is open for all to enjoy, all year round.
