                      'Noah's Ark Zoo Farm'

                         Activity Plan 2012.

There are further dates to add throughout the course of the season including additional outreach dates and outdoor events. However this will give you a flavor as to what Noahs Ark are up to in 2012!

Don't forget fundraising will start for Elephant Eden this Spring.

The Noahs Ark team will keep you updated with news, events and developments as they happen!.

 

February 

Saturday 4th February- Noah’s Ark re-opens for its new season. Competition on the website and facebook to win a family season ticket.

Monday 6th February- Jungle Tots, a parent and toddler group re-starts for the Season at Noah’s Ark. Monday mornings during term time, 10.30am- 5.00pm

Saturday 11th February- Noah’s Ark will be at Weston Pier with animals to meet and greet.

Saturday 17th February- Bristol City football club comes to Noah’s Ark to promote their Frankie and Benny’s City Reds Campaign.

Saturday 18th February- Nest Box and Nibbles day. A conservation event to encourage visitors to make homes for nesting birds in their back garden and make food treats for the animals.

 

March 

Thursday 8th March- Noah’s Ark will be at the Exmoor Exchange.

Saturday 17th March- Bring your Mum, Grandmother or Step mum to the zoo for £5 to celebrate Mother’s Day. Print off a downloadable voucher from the website to receive offer.

 Saturday 31st March- Noah’s Ark will be at Weston Pier with animals to meet and greet.

 

April 

Saturday 7th April- Easter Celebrations Event. Follow the Easter egg trail to find a chocolate prize. Take part in an egg and spoon race and get creative making some fun Easter crafts.

Saturday 14th April- Farmer’s Golden Wedding. Come and celebrate the Golden Wedding Anniversary of Noah’s Ark owners Anthony and Christina Bush with a gold themed day. Visitors who find the Golden ticket win a special prize.

May

Saturday 19th May- Save our Species Day. Learn about the endangered species at Noah’s Ark and what you can do to support them. A day focused on conservation.

 

June

 Tuesday 5th June- Jubilee Day. Enjoy a truly British day at Noah’s Ark. Watch the jubilee on the big screen and enjoy traditional games and events including Punch and Judy!

Saturday 9th June- Wildlife Day. A day focused on local conservation. Learn about lots of wildlife and get environment tips from our grounds team. Activities include pond dipping, minibeast hunting, scavenger hunts, a conservation talk and nature walk.

Saturday 16th June- Father’s Day. Bring your Dad, Grandad or Stepdad to the zoo for £5 to celebrate Father’s Day. Print off a downloadable voucher from the website to receive the offer.

 

July/ August

Monday 30th July- Saturday 11th August- Reptile Fortnight.  Noah’s Ark welcomes The Reptile Zone for its fifth year. See venomous snake shows daily and learn about these dangerous and exciting reptiles. Meet some non venomous reptiles after the show!

Saturday 11th August and Sunday 12th August- Noah’s Ark is at Bristol International Balloon Fiesta with animals that you can meet, stroke and hold.

September

Saturday 29th September- Rural Craft Day. New for 2012! Learn about and see rural crafts being made at Noah’s Ark. There will be an opportunity to buy some crafts and buy tickets for our fundraising raffle.

 

November

Saturday 10th November- Noah’s Ark closes during the week but is open every Saturday until 15th December inclusive.

 

December

Saturday 15th December- Christmas Nativity Plays. Celebrate the festive season this year by coming along to our hugely popular nativity play featuring live animals and a real baby!
