New Chartered Institute of marketing Ambassador role for Visit Somerset Vice chair

John Turner the Vice Chairman of Visit Somerset is becoming the Chartered Institute of Marketing's ambassador for Tourism and Leisure in the South West
Bob Smart Chairman has said;
‘John Turner, who is our Vice Chairman at the Somerset Tourism Association, has been responsible for many private sector initiatives which have furthered the cause of tourism within Somerset, and therefore within the South West. We’re delighted to see that at the same time the professional association to which he belongs has recognised his abilities by appointing him as their ambassador for tourism in the South West. There’s a pattern emerging here. It’s important for tourism in the South West, and for business generally, that new initiatives are developed, and John is one of the lead players in developing those initiatives.’
