Jazz At Smiths Hotel

Friday 24 October, The Swing Kings, a six-piece band of top class musicians from the Midlands will start the weekend playing great Jazz, including quite a few rarely heard tunes, from across the entire Jazz era.

Saturday 25 October Mid-day, The Panama Jazz Kings play their own unmistakable lively style of New Orleans Jazz and have established a good reputation in the Westcountry as well as nationally, appearing in Jazz clubs and at Jazz Festivals throughout the UK and Europe.

Saturday Evening, Jeremy Huggett's Band of Gold, one of the youngest professional jazz and blues bands in the UK, play a wide range of music including traditional and mainstream jazz, big band swing, latin jazz, dinner/lounge jazz, blues and rock & roll.

Sunday 26 October Mid-Day, The Memphis Seven from South Wales enjoy playing Jazz in the New Orleans and Dixieland styles, played with the enthusiasm that only true devotees of the music have.

Sunday Evening, Chris Pearce's Frenchman Street Jazz Band from the Midlands will end the weekend with what's sure to be a memorable performance.
