Yeovil Country Park is an area of 127 acres (51 hectares) of woodland, scrub, grassland, lake, riverside and old railway line situated on the southern and south eastern edge of Yeovil. It is managed by South Somerset District Council as a recreation facility with aims to conserve wildlife, educate and offer opportunities for involvement in the management of the surrounding environment. It is within easy reach of many thousands of people and ifs free to enter for all visitors.

Nearest major road is M5. A358 to Ilminster, A303 to Yeovil - follow brown tourist signs. Access from Goldenstones lesure centre car park on Brunswick Street, Yeovil.
