Strode Theatre is part of Strode College on the edge of the town of Street, and is one of the major arts venues in Somerset. The Theatre has a varied programme including new and classic films from Britain and around the world, live events (drama, musicals, ballet and dance, comedy, poetry, jazz, folkand classical concerts, illustrated talks, etc) by professional and amateur companies, and temporary exhibitions of paintings, photography and other visual arts.
The airy and comfortable theatre cafe and bar is open to patrons and the general public before and during most performances.

Street is reached from the M5 (junction 25)and Wells/Glastonbury via the A39, and from Yeovil and the A303 via Somerton on the B3151. On approaching Street, follow signs to "Strode College and Theatre".
