North Somerset Museum is a family-friendly place full of displays telling the story of the district, from pre-history to the present.
You can find out about the history of seaside holidays or you go to Clara's Cottage, a typical Weston home in 1900. The archaeology gallery goes back to the Ice Age with bones and stone tools from Mendip's caves. The displays come up to date with wildlife you can see today.
There is costume and jewellery on display and toys and dolls. There are secret weapons developed on Birnbeck Island in World War two. There is even a 22 foot long boat.
There are competitions and quizzes for children, and special summer hands-on activities.
Or you can relax with a drink in the courtyard cafe or browse in the museum shop for that perfect present.
