Makers is a successful crafts co-operative established in 1984, owned and run by the makers themselves. The ground floor is a showcase for members work, displaying an ever changing collection of work including furniture, wood turning, painting, printmaking, jewellery, painted silk, knitwear and decorative and functional ceramics. The upstairs gallery has an emphasis on larger pieces, mainly furniture and an exhibition area where local and nationally known artists and craftsmen can exhibit.
