Visitors to Ashton Court Heritage Estate can now enjoy new and improved facilities at Ashton Court Visitor Centre, one of the city's best loved parks.
The visitor centre, in the stable block of the mansion, provides information on the history of the estate, a multi-media visitor guide (visual and audio), trail maps and details of activities and events. There is a cafe, exhibition space and disabled access public toilets.
It has retained many of the 19th century period features of the original coach house, reinstated a pitched glass canopy in keeping with the original Victorian designs and incorporated a modern, 21st century café with staff facilities, new toilets, separate disabled toilet block and separate baby changing facilities.
