Situated in a lovely garden in the quiet village of West Chinnock, the cottage is adjacent to the house, yet quite separate from it. The cottage is very comfortably furnished, fully carpeted and equipped with every modern appliances, including cooker with oven, microwave, washing machine, TV and radio and electric blanket. All bedroom bathroom and kitchen linen is included, as is electricity for cooking and heating. A choice of duvet or blankets is offered for the double bed. There is lovely view from the cottage and quests are encouraged to explore the large garden. The small town of Crewkerne is three miles away and Yeovil, the nearest big town is six miles away. There is a school, a church, a restaurant and a pub in the village, and a network of footpaths for lovely walks.

The surrounding area offers many pretty villages, all with pubs serving lunches and evening meals. This area of Somerset is noted for its gardens. Many private ones welcome visitors, whilst there are several National Trust properties nearby. The south coast is 14 miles away offering the resorts of West Bay, Charmouth and Lyme Regis. The historic cathedral and abbey town of Sherborne, Wells, Bath and Salisbury are within easy reach.

Road Directions

M5 Jcn 25 take A358 to Ilminster and left onto A303. Leave A303 on A356 for Crewkerne. After 1½ miles turn left at West Chinnock signpost. Yeoman Cottage is opposite church in Higher Street; 2nd house up the hill from the phone box. Entrance through a white five-barred gate.
