West End Barn is set in the lovely Somerset village of Stoke Sub Hamdon overlooked by the Roman fort of Ham Hill, now a 400 acre country park and the start of the Liberty Trail.

Within 1 mile of the A303, West End Barn is a perfect location for easy access to a large amount of National Trust properties, gardens and many tourist attractions including Montacute House, Hestercombe Gardens and the Fleet Air Arm museum to name but a few. A short drive will take you to several beautiful coastal towns with some spectacular views and many relaxing coastal walks.

There are excellent local pubs and restaurants within walking distance and many in the surrounding area. West End Barn is a recently converted Hamstone building consisting of 2 spacious, comfortable 1 bedroom apartments, which have been sympathetically modernised whilst still retaining its natural rustic charm and have been decorated and furnished to a high standard with private parking. The accommodation consists of a full kitchen with dining area, lounge, bedroom and en suite bathroom with shower and full central heating. Bed linen and towels are provided. The apartments have the use of a utility room situated on the ground floor with a washing machine and tumble dryer available at any time at no extra cost. With a large shared garden to the rear of the barn, it is a peaceful and relaxing place to while away the evenings with a glass of wine. Situated on an arable and fruit farm, part of the Duchy of Cornwall estate, the surrounding area is mainly farmland. You cannot escape the feeling of being in one of the most scenic areas of Somerset.
