A beautiful 14thC house situated at the North end of Vicars’ close in Wells, adjoining the close chapel.
A majority of houses in vicars’ close are occupied by employees of Wells Cathedral including the vicar choral (men of the choir), for whom the houses were built around 1360 and who have been singing the services since the early Middle Ages.
The house has four bedrooms designed to accommodate 7/8 people, one twin, two double, one single and a Z-bed if required. Let on a weekly basis, it is well equipped for self-catering and includes towels, linen and heating.

Road Directions
When in Wells the signposts to the cathedral will help; the Liberty meets St Andrew Street at the pedestrian traffic lights; 100 yards to the right of this junction, Vicars' Close leads off St Andrew Street under an archway; the house is at the far end of the cul-de-sac on the left.
Public Transport Directions
Buses into Wells terminate at the Princes Road bus station; Wells cathedral is signposted from the bus station and Vicars' Close is on the north side of the cathedral off St Andrew Street.
