Spend your days just relaxing or embark on a country walk to one of the many days out the area has to offer with Cothay Gardens a gentle stroll away or Dunster Castle (NT) Knightshayes Court (NT), and the Wimbleball Lake a short drive. For excellent walking and riding, the Brendon Hills and Exmoor National Park are close by. Along the West Somerset coast, which is easily accessed, the pretty town of Porlock, Lynton and Lynmouth can be found. Minehead, 20 miles, has good beaches and excellent family entertainment.
