The Old Cider House has five en suite rooms all individually decorated, including a four-poster room. Non-smoking. Car park and secluded garden. Open all year round.

Evening meals are served in our licensed dining room. Local and organic produce a speciality together with ales brewed on the premises from our microbrewery The Stowey Brewery. Vegetarians and special diets catered for.

Pets welcome by prior arrangement. Guided walking holidays also available.
Ideal for walking, cycling, sightseeing and above all relaxing.

Road Directions

From M5, junction 23, take A38 to Bridgwater. At Bridgwater follow signs for A39 towards Minehead. Nether Stowey is 7 miles west of Bridgwater. Turn left into the village and left again at clock tower in centre of village. The Old Cider House is on the right hand side with car parking behind the house through the white gates.

Public Transport Directions

From Bridgwater - 7 miles From railway station, the bus station is a 10-minute walk, or a brief bus ride From the bus station, catch a No 15 bus to Minehead, alighting at Castle Street in Nether Stowey. Alternatively, from the railway station, walk to Sainsbury’s (5 minutes) and catch the No 15 bus to Nether Stowey. From the bus stop in Castle Street the property is on the right hand side.
