Regional award winning quality, service and food. The hotel dates from 1460 and is characterised by many attractive period features. The fine oak front door leads to an elm panelled entrance hallway with leaded glass. The comfortable lounge has oak flooring, ceiling beams and an inglenook fireplace with an ornate wood burning stove. The landing features elm panelling. Each bedroom enjoys oak flooring and two of the rooms have elm wall panelling.

All bedrooms are en suite, have premium quality Relyon Super King Size beds, flat screen television, Bose music system, tea & coffee making facilities, hair dryer and bathrobes.

Breakfast features local and organic produce where possible and orange and grapefruit are freshly squeezed each morning.

There are several restaurants within walking distance as well as pubs providing excellent food.

Spears Cross lies at the foot of Dunster castle, is privately owned and is ideal for a weekend break or a longer stay.
