A traditional Somerset byre has been converted into two comfortable holiday cottages. Each cottage sleeps 4. Both cottages have an open-plan living area with a kitchen leading off from this. 'Owls' has a main bedroom with a double bed, plus a second bedroom with bunk beds, a bathrom with bath/ shower and a separate toilet 'Bird's Nest' , designed to be suitable for wheelchair users, has two bedrooms with double beds, and a combined toilet/ bathroom with bath/ shower. Bed linen and towels provided. Pets welcome.
Situated in peaceful countryside, yet les than 2 miles from picturesque Castle Cary. Relax in lawned garden or enjoy quiet country walks. Orchard Farm is mainly used for raising dairy and beef cattle, but ,many horses and sheep also graze in the felds around the cottages. Whether you would like to spend time exploring the local countryside, or visit the many attractions that abound the West Country, Orchard Farm provides an ideal base.

Road Directions
Leave A303 at Wincanton or Sparkford. Follow signs to Castle Cary. From Castle Cary take B3152 towards Yeovil. Turn right at Cockhill sign just after leaving town. Second farm on right after half mile.
Public Transport Directions
Frequent trains from Castle Cary station from London (Paddington), Bristol and Plymouth / Exeter. Taxis from station to Orchard Farm (1½ miles) readily available.
