Situated in the historic market town of Taunton in Somerset, Lyngford House is a graceful Georgian Grade II Listed manor house that offers a very comfortable base for visiting the delights of the Westcountry. Surrounded by the Quantock and Blackdown Hills, Lyngford House is just 1.5 miles from Taunton main line railway station and 5 minutes’ drive from junction 25 of the M5. Ample parking is available at the front of the house.

Set in landscaped gardens, Lyngford House has 18 en-suite bedrooms located in a modern wing and access is available for those with disabilities. IN the evenings, unwind in our cosy bar and relax in the comfortable lounge before sampling our Table d’Hote menu on offer for those dining in-house. If you have any particular requirements, our Head Chef is always on hand to discuss menus to suit every occasion.

Lyngford House is also licensed for civil ceremonies and small intimate wedding receptions are our speciality.

Conference facilities are available for meetings, training events and seminars in both the House itself and a purpose built conference suite. Our team of experienced staff are always on hand to meet your particular requirements, whether it is a meeting for 2 people or a conference for 130.

Road Directions

From M5 Jcn 25 follow A358 for Taunton. Follow the dual carriageway to first set of traffic lights. Go straight through traffic lights up to next roundabout. Turn right signposted to Priorswood. Drive over Obridge Viaduct to the next roundabout and go straight across into Eastwick Road. Follow Eastwick Road to the mini-roundabout and turn right to Selworthy Road. Lyngford House is 450 yards on the left.
