Farthings is an elegant Georgian hotel situated in the heart of the Somerset countryside in the historic village of Hatch Beauchamp. Set in extensive gardens of approximately 3 acres, it enjoys an enviable reputation for the hospitality and comfort it provides for its guests.
There are few hotels better situated for touring this area. Just a few miles from Taunton, the county town of Somerset, Farthings Hotel is ideally situated for most of the local attractions. Wells cathedral, Glastonbury Tor, Bath and Exeter are all within easy reach. Cheddar Gorge, with its famous caves, Wookey Hole and the rolling hills of the Mendips are just on the doorstep, and both North and South coasts of Devon and Somerset are only 30 minutes drive away. Farthings is also central for exploring many National Trust properties; Barrington Court, Hestercombe House and Gardens, Clapton Court, Forde Abbey and Gardens, Montacute House and East Lambrook Manor.
