Set in a secluded and unspoilt valley at the confluence of two streams - one of which feeds a large pond and a waterfall, Bagnell Cottage can be found in the middle of its two acres at the end of a scenic track.
Although the property can be reached in just 10 minutes from the A303 there is abundant wildlife in the vicinity, including active badger sets and many water birds, and the views are an artist's dream. Guests have full access to gardens, picnic areas, ponds and a large meadow or they can choose to follow one of the three footpaths that pass the cottage. If and when our visitors desire a return to civilisation there is a well appointed pub which offers good food, a local shop and a good bus service near by.
But the location is only one part of what makes Bagnell Cottage Bed and Breakfast so special! Beautiful, warm, comfortable and spacious accommodation is available within a traditional large cottage which, thanks to its recent renovation, perfectly blends the charm of the old with the comfort of the new.

Road Directions
Get onto the A303 and take the exit for Crewkerne A356 - it comes after Yeovil and Cartgate if you are coming from a London direction, or it is after Ilminster and South Petherton if you are coming from the Exeter direction.
Once you are on the A356 after a few minutes you will see a sign for Norton Sub Hamdon and should turn left.
Once you get into the Village you will soon see Norton Sub Hamdon Post Office and Spar Shop. Keeping this on your right hand side, travel to the top of the village. When you reach a fork in the road at Greenham's Cross, bear left and follow that road through to Little Norton. At the top of Little Norton take the right fork into a single track road (marked no through road). After 300 metres turn right at the signpost for Bagnell Farm. You can find us 1 mile along this private drive (single track in places) after the bypassing the farm, Bagnell Cottage is on the right.
