Apple Juice Producers

From tiny orchards making farmhouse 'scrumpy', large commercial operations producing a smooth refined drink, to the delicious Apple Brandy and the huge variety of refreshingly cool Apple Juices available - there has always been a strong association between Somerset and apples!

Many of the orchards are attractions in their own right so make a little time to explore. Choose either apple juice producers or cider producers.

45 acres of orchard, 30 different varieties of apple, 14 different apple juices, plums, damsons, herbs and squashes plus preserves and fruit trees. Also orchard visits and short courses, tastings, talks and open days.

Directions: From A358 take the turn for Creech St Michael. Off the A361 turn off at Durston. Then follow brown signs to end of lane.

Open: Mon-Sat 9am-5pm. Weekends April to August by arrangement.

Directions: North Perrott is 3 miles east of Crewkerne. The retail outlet for the fruit farm is North Perrott Garden Centre on the main road as you come into the village on the left.
