All of the accommodation featured on Visit Somerset is currently graded under the Harmonised National Inspection Star Rating Schemes that are carried out by Quality in Tourism on behalf of Visit Britain (The National Tourist Board) or the AA.

County & District Tourism Contacts
Tourism is a vitally important part of Somerset's economy, and all local authorities in the area are involved in promoting and developing tourism in their own areas, as well as being part of the wider Somerset Tourism Partnership (STP).
The STP supports and funds various tourism initiatives, including the Visit Somerset website. Partners include North Somerset Council, Mendip District Council, Sedgmoor District Council, West Somerset Council, South Somerset District Council, Taunton Deane Borough Council and Somerset County Council.
