Bishops Lydeard

A large village, home to the West Somerset Steam Railway and Bishops Lydeard Mill. Its centre piece is its superb parish church but also of note is the row of almshouses and the 'fives' wall. A peculiarity is the centrally located pole, which once delivered the power to Taunton's trams, some five miles away!
