Status Quo have notched up 60 chart hits since their formation in 1967, more than any other UK rock band.
The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra will perform popular classics in a Proms format, culminating in a flag-waving rendition of "Land of Hope and Glory".
A full programme of music along with support acts will be announced nearer the event.
A Christmas discount will be available on a limited number of tickets. The normal price is £30 and subject to availabilty, tickets can be bought on the night for £35. However this year tickets are on offer for £25 until December 31st.
