The Assembly Rooms Cafe

The Grade I listed Assembly Rooms is the largest single banqueting venue in the whole of Bath and available to hire for private events and functions. This spectacular venue has the largest Georgian interior in Bath and is opulently furnished with Whitefriars crystal chandeliers and paintings by Gainsborough and Hoare.

The Assembly Rooms is also home to the iconic Fashion Museum with its world-class collection of contemporary and historical dress.

The Asssembly Rooms Café is adjoined to the Great Octagon and provides an elegant backdrop to enjoy morning coffee or lunch before or after a visit to the museum. The café is also open to the general public and local residents. (Entry to the Assembly Rooms and café is free of charge).

Visitors can also enjoy the peaceful garden attached to the Café which provides a great sun trap on warmer days suited to summer drinks and light lunches.

The café itself is self-service offering a range of refreshments from handmade cakes and giant cookies to freshly made sandwiches and salads. A selection of tea is available as well as fruit juice, wine, award winning ales, excellent cider and organic lager.

Open from 10.30am – 4.00pm. Please note that the café is not open when private events are in operation.
