A black tie event with a 3-course meal on The Grand Pier to mark the RNLI’s special 200th year of lifesaving

In 2024, let’s get together to mark the RNLI’s special 200th year of lifesaving. 200 years is an amazing milestone for the RNLI, but everything we have achieved in that time has only been possible thanks to ordinary people doing extraordinary things. Since the RNLI was formed in 1824, people like you have formed crews and funded the kit and lifeboats to save lives at sea. RNLI lifesavers are counting on you to join us in our 200th year and we are proud to have you beside us so why not join the Crew & Fundraisers of the RNLI Weston-super-Mare in celebrating this historic occasion as well as raising funds for your local lifeboat station. This will be a black tie event with a 3-course meal on the Grand Pier, we will have music from one of Weston’s favourite bands Six Machine as well as a tombola, silent raffle, souvenir photos, and much more. Numbers are limited and tickets are sure to sell fast so please book early to avoid disappointment, it’s not often you get to celebrate a 200-year Anniversary!
